Cong candidate Digvijay Singh files nomination from Bhopal LS seat

Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha candidate Digvijay Singh filed his nomination form from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency at the Collectorate on Saturday. Earlier, Singh called on former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri at his residence and discussed with the party office-bearers and a large number of activists there. From the residence of Pachauri, Digvijay Singh reached Collectorate and filed his nomination form before the District Electoral Officer.

Congress State Media President Shobha Ojha, Minister Jaivardhan Singh, Advocate Vineet Godha and Vikas Jain were present during his nomination. Others including Ministers Arif Aqeel, P C Sharma, former MP Rameshwar Nikhra, MLA Laxman Singh, Pratap Bhanu Sharma, Shrinath, MLA Arif Masood, City and District Congress President Kailash Mishra, Arun Shrivastava, Naresh Gyanchandani, Jaishri Harikaran, Sukhlal Thakur and Congress Corporators and activists were also present on the occasion.
