NYAY scheme would eliminate poverty: Rahul Gandhi

Accelerating his election campaign in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday, Congress President, Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting in support of Congress candidate from Durg Lok Sabha, Pratima Chandrakar, while slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding his assurance to deposit ‘15 lakhs’ in everybody’s bank account. Before his arrival at Bhilai, he was accorded a warm welcome by the Congress leaders and party activists.
 
 
He also briefed about Nyuntam Aay Yojna (NYAY Scheme) and said that the Congress party with its NYAY Yojna will annually deposit Rs 72,000 in everyone’s account, which would directly benefit to over 25 crore poor people of the country without damaging India’s economy. He also exhorted that his party, upon coming to power, would forcibly take money from the pockets of fraud tycoons. Questioning the Modi led governance, on the promise of employment generation, the Congress president said that the BJP’s promise to generate two crore jobs every year turned out to be a hoax. Forget about generating new jobs, the Modi rule destroyed existing jobs from country.
 
As congress is back to power at the Centre, we would fill 22 lakh vacancies (in the Union government departments), asserted Rahul Gandhi. The other senior leader from Congress party, Ravindra Chaubey, Motilal Vora and other also took dig over Modi led governance while terming Modi’s promises as a hoax. Earlier, Congress president, Rahul Gandhi appealed the voters to cast their votes for Pratima Chandrakar, Congress Candidate from Durg district in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, Cabinet Ministers — TS Singhdeo, Guru Rudra, Akbar Ali, Bhilai MLA, Devendra Yadav, Anila Bhedia, Ravindra Chaubey, PL Puniya, Pradeep Chaubey, Former State Minister, Badruddin Qureshi, Bhajansingh Nirankari, Tulsi Sahu and others.
