Gang of vehicle lifters busted, 12 out of 14 accused nabbed

Madan Mahal police busted a gang of vehicle lifters and arrested 12 of the 14 accused and seized eight stolen vehicles from them amounting to more than Rs. 4 lakh. The arrested have been identified as Aditya Singh (30), son of Govind Singh, resident of behind Gulzar Hotel, Gujarati Mohalla, Madan Mahal, Rajesh Patel (30), son of Premlal Patel of Brajmohan Nagar, Rampur, Gorakhpur, Mohammed Siraj, son of Mohammed Haneef of Andherdeo, Kotwali, Raja Rajak (29), son of Sunderlal Rajak of Bai Ka Bagicha, Kotwali, Abhishek alias Chhotu (26), son of Sukhdin Patel of Devri Patpara village in Barela, Raunak Rizwan (26), son of Ismile Mansuri of Behana Mohalla, Gorakhpur, Raunak Patel (22), son of Mevalal Patel of Gorakhpur, Mohammed Dilshad (23), son of Mohammed Naushad of near Mecca Masjid, Adhartal, Mehfooz Aalam (47), son of Mohammed Vasir of Naya Mohalla in Omti, Rahul Ben (31), son of Madanlal Ben of Damohnaka, Shanti Nagar, Gohalpur and Mohammed Shakeel (46), son of Abdul Wahid of Railway Colony in Madan Mahal while Guddu alias Jitendra Patel (30), son of Premlal Patel of Brajmohan Nagar, Rampur in Gorakhpur and Manoj Sharma alias Sindhi, owner of Car Jhankar Shop are still at large. Additional Superintendent of Police (City), Rajesh Tripathi disclosed this while addressing a press conference, on Monday. It may be noted that under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Nimish Agrawal plice have started a special campaign against anti-social elements to maintain law and order arrangements and strict enforcement of Election Model Code of Conduct during Lok Sabha Election -2019. ASP, Tripathi informed that during the campaign police received information about a man named Aditya Singh of Gujarati Mohalla is engaged in selling stolen motorcycles and Activa scooters. Acting promptly on the information, a police team led by SHO of Madan Mahal police station, Sandeep Ayachi started a search and nabbed the suspected man.
On his identification, police team recovered a stolen motorcycle and two Activa scooters from his house. The accused further disclosed the names of his two accomplices involved in vehicle lifting and selling. On his identification, police nabbed Rajesh Patel and Guddu alias Jitendra Patel and seized two more stolen Activa scooters. In further investigations, police team nabbed nine more accused who were involved in vehicle lifting, modification of vehicles, making fake number plates and selling of stolen vehicles while two more accused are still at large.
Madan Mahal police have registered a case under Sections 41(1-4)/102 of Cr.P.C. and Sections 379, 411, 420, 471, 210 and 34 of the IPC. Vehicle lifters gang was busted with active working of police team led by SHO of Madan Mahal, Sandeep Ayachi comprised of SI, Laxmikant Tiwari, SI, C. L. Patel, PSI, Chetan Sharma, ASI, Ravi Singh, Head Constables, Jamuna Mishra, Subhash Kumar, Ramakant, Constables, Rajesh Agnihotri, Shubham Patel, Parasnath Nirmal, Head Constable, Prashant Solanki, Constables, Ramlal Kushwaha, Ajay Sonkar, Manish Thakur, Shivshankar, Shafeek Khan and Ameer Chand.
