Upgrade facilities at Govt hospitals: Bahuguna

Divisional Commissioner, Rajesh Bahuguna instructed to upgrade facilities at the Government hospitals located at the urban and rural areas. He directed the divisional and district-level officers of Health Department to ensure improvements by conducting regular inspections and take stern action against the doctors and employees who display laxities towards their duties. The Divisional Commissioner instructed to improve health facilities and services at primary health center, Sonpur under Janpad Panchayat Panagar. The concerned incharge, Sonpur Health Centre and District Medical and Health Officer would be liable for the same. It may be mentioned that the Divisional Commissioner recently received complaint against various irregularities prevailed at Sonpur Health Centre.
 
 
While chairing the review meeting of divisional officers concerned with Health, Excise, Pension and Woman and Child Development Departments, Commissioner, Bahuguna sought details about different activities being implemented for achieveing set targets concerned with health. Collecting details about government labor centers run in rural areas, he instructed to re-activate the inactive centers. He further reviewed the medical facilities available for treatment of children having deformities by birth, vaccination and Divyang persons. He asked to ensure maximum utility of Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres for treatment of malnourished children.
 
The Divisional Commissioner instructed to issue show cause notices to the Woman and Child Development Officers concerned with Dindori, KATNI, Mandla and Narsinghpur for displaying laxities in endorsing necessary details in the departmental portal. The concerned officers were asked to redress official pension cases in the camps to be organized as per calendar prepared for rectification of pension cases. The Commissioner collected the list of pending pension cases and asked the District Collectors for paying special attention towards redressal of long pending pension cases. He reviewed the departmental works and revenue received from the Excise and Mineral Departments. Joint Commissioner, Development, Arvind Yadav was also present.
