Sadhvi Pragya officially files nomination papers

BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate for Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur paid obeisance at ‘Curfew Wali Mata Mandir’ in Somwara before going to file her nomination papers on Tuesday. On this occasion, senior party leaders, including ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP National Vice President Prabhat Jha, BJP State President Rakesh Singh, Raghunandan Sharma, ex-minister Vishwas Sarang, Mayor Alok Sharma, etc. were present. After Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur paid obeisance at ‘Curfew Wali Mata Mandir’, a public assembly was organised at Somwara Chowk. Addressing the people, ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that ground beneath Congress and Digvijay Singh has slipped out from the day when BJP declared Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur as its Lok Sabha candidate. “Entire Congress is perturbed. She was tortured in jail and after she came out from jail, she was mentally tortured. She was implicated on wrong charges,” he said. He added that, Congress and Digvijay Singh did sin of connecting saffron with terrorism. Congress did the work to defame ‘Hindutva’.
 
Hinduism considered entire world as one family. It is a matter of concern that Congress and Digvijay Singh tried to taint Hindutva culture. He criticized Digvijay Singh’s vision document by telling that Digvijay Singh’s vision is pothole riddled roads, State plunged in darkness, hungry poor people and unemployed youths. He also trained guns on Rahul Gandhi and stated that, after blow from Supreme Court, now Rahul Gandhi is saying “Chowkidar Chor Nahin”. Rahul Gandhi also lied on farm loan waiver and had also promised to open mobile factory for youths, but this promise has also not been fulfilled. Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur told that “I came in election battlefield so that I can give befitting reply to those who term saffron as terrorism. I am in election battlefield so that women can get protection. I am a Sanyasi and Sanyasi comes in Satta (power) when corruption and atrocities increase.”
 
She told that, after coming to power in State, Congress stopped public welfare schemes. Electricity supply has started to get affected in Congress regime. “Digvijay Singh tells that Hindutva word is not in his dictionary…….. I was also subjected to atrocities and I am the living witness of atrocity,” she alleged. Among those prominent present on this occasion included Parmanand Giri Maharaj, BJP State Organisation In Charge Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Vijesh Lunawat, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma, Krishna Gaur, Surendra Nath Singh, District President Vikas Virani, etc.
 
After public assembly, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur took out a rally from Peer Gate till Collector office to go to file her nomination papers. During rally, she was accompanied by BJP State President Rakesh Singh, Mayor Alok Sharma, ex Minister Vishwas Sarang, etc. Notably, she had also filed nomination papers on Monday, but in formal manner. BJP said, she filed nomination papers during auspicious time on Monday. In official manner, her nomination papers were filed on Tuesday.
