One killed, another injured as tractor rams into bike

In yet another incident of premature death on account reckless driving came to fore at Bamhnoda falling under Panagar police station on April 25, 2019 when one speeding tractor rammed two people on motor bike from behind. After being rushed to Panagar Government Hospital one injured was declared brought dead while another is undergoing treatment his condition is reported to be stable. According to police on Wednesday morning they were informed about road mishap at Bamhnoda. On being informed cops reached the spot but were told that both persons were taken to Panagar hospital, accordingly cops reached at the government hospital. At the government hospital one of Ajit Sharma(28) resident from Vyas Mohalla eye witness in his statement given to police stated.
He happened to be building work contractor on Wednesday morning he was on way to Choubey Umaria. Little ahead Dharmendra Verma along with Ritesh Sharma were moving in the same direction. In a sudden development that took place one tractor trolley bearing registration number MP 20 HA 1118 driving at high speed rammed the motor bike driven by Dharmendra Verma from behind. Due to massive impact both Verma and Sharma and fell down on the road and sustained serious injuries. Immediately dial 100 was called along with Ambulance 108. At the Panagar government hospital, duty doctor who examined both the injured declared Dharmendra Verma brought dead.
While Ritesh Sharma having sustained injuries was admitted and is undergoing treatment. Owing to his multiple injuries sustained in the mishap has been referred to Jabalpur for intensive treatment. Cops carrying out investigations made panchnama and referred the body for autopsy. AT the time of making of panchnama the deceased was identified as Dharmendra Verma(42) resident from Shivaji ward Panagar. A case under relevant sections of IPC has been registered against the absconding tractor driver as further investigations are underway. After the autopsy was performed the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased.
