Badwara Assembly segment of Katni district under Shahdol Lok Sabha area would go for polling on April 29. The distribution of election materials to polling teams would be done on April 28 and then polling teams would leave for their respective polling booths. The distribution of polling materials would be done at Krishi Upaj Mandi, Katni on April 28.

 

Collector and District Returning Officer Dr Pankaj Jain chaired meeting of nodal officers of various cells and the AROs and took up review of the preparations done for conducting free and fair poll.On the occasion Additional Collector and DDRO R Uma Maheshwari, CEO, district panchayat Franc Nobel A, ARO, Badwara Devki Nandan Singh, Mudwara Balveer Raman Singh Singh, Bahoriband Dhirendra Singh, Vijayaraghavgarh Priya Chandrawat, Nodal Officer of all Cell and Assistant Nodal OfficerCollector reviewed the preparations done for polling in Badwara area on April 29. he directed that at the polling material distribution place, shade, medical care, drinking water, mobile toilets, cooler, fire brigade, barricading, light, tent, speaker should be arranged. Collector himself would take stock of the all preparation on April 27.

 

Collector Dr Jain said that no officer, employee should keep their mobile switch off or out of coverage area. The services of any officer, employee can be taken anytime for poling at Badwara assembly segment.

He directed that for the convenience of polling teams, direction board and flexi sign board should be installed at Mandi gate.

 

DDRO Uma Maheshwari informed that polling materials to polling teams of Badwara assembly segment would be distributed on April 28 from 6 am onwards. 20 counters have been set up for distribution of polling materials and materials would be distributed from this counter. In vehicles of Sector Officers, GPS would be installed two days back. Nodal Register of transportation would be maintained. All Sector Officers have to download voting percentage App and send information in every two hours. . then through Suvidha portal, voter turnout on App would be updated. ARO would give information of departure of polling teams of their area and polling teams reaching to polling booths safely. .

On day of polling at 7 am, information of mockpoll, report to be sent to CEO, M.P state, would be sent timely through the ARO.
