Four dumpers transporting sand illegally seized in Sehore

Police and Mineral Resource Department are leaving no stone unturned to nab sand mafia to bring illegal sand mining to an end but sand mining is still on in the district. A team from department seized 4 dumpers and a truck transporting sand illegally and a car at Hotel Crescent Square at Indore-Bhopal Highway, Sehore. District administration, Revenue Department and Mining Department are taking action and nabbing gang involved in illegal sand mining and vehicles carrying sand without paying royalty every day.
In this connection mining officer Khan with his team acted on the information by an informer that as many as four dumpers and a truck carrying sand have left Nasrullaganj block and are on their way to Sehore. District Mining Officer Khan said that there were a few cars escorting all sand-laden vehicles. When police tried stop them, all cars fled the spot but the team got success in catching one car.
People in car were the informers of sand mafia. According to Regional Transport Office, the car seized belongs to renowned sand mafia Sandeep Rathore alias Sannata, who is a resident of Nadan in block Ichhawar in Sehore. Police have registered a case.
