Nagpur man leads campaign at Silicon Valley to re-elect Modi

As the election campaign is picking up in many parts of country, the Indian Diaspora is also actively participating in the ongoing campaign. The group extensively campaigned for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party and also reached out to their friends and relatives in motherland. Gaurav Patwardhan, High Tech Professional, Overseas Friends of BJP Co-Convener of Maharashtra State Outreach and OFBJP Northern California Convener of Membership, originally from Nagpur, was instrumental in organising a NaMo Sangam at Milpitas, California to highlight the achievements of Modi led Government in last five years and to support Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India in 2019 elections. Cabinet Minister and past national President of BJP Nitin Gadkari along with current National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya addressed the gathering from India. Gadkari assured the NRIs that “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, developmental work which started towards building New India in last five years will be even more accelerated and India will eventually become super power in all aspects.”
 
He also encouraged NRIs to support Modi by reaching out to friends and family in India and appealing them to vote and vote for Modi led BJP. Chandru Bhambhra, OFBJP Northern California Coordinator and a Silicon Valley Community Leader welcomed everyone and also thanked Vijaywargiya for speaking with the Community. Khanderao Kand, a director of Foundation of India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS) and Founder President of GITPRO, a global Indian Technology professionals association, said, “In last five years India is more stable, secure, Infrastructure wise growing, and last common man getting benefits from all the social schemes launched by Modi Government. Vijay Simha, Joint General Secretary of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) USA, said, “Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi and his vision, India-US bilateral relations have developed into a global strategic partnership based on shared democratic values and increasing collaboration in interests of bilateral, regional and global issues”.
 
Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, Head of Foreign Affairs BJP and Global Head of OFBJP, congratulated the Silicon Valley team for this successful event. The event was graced by some elected officials of Indian Origin including Dr Raj Salwan, Rishi Kumar along with some prominent community Leaders like Dr Romesh Japhra (FIA President), Dr Jashvant Patel, and many others.
