The first batch of Bhonsala Adventure and Sports Foundation and The Hitavada Twinkle Club Personality Development Camp, concluded at Panchavati
 
 
“The demos staged by the campers, participating in the Bhonsala Adventure and Sports Foundation and The Hitavada Twinkle Club Personality Development Camp, reflected on the importance of extra curricular activities and studies, needed for overall development of one’s personality. One should stay hungry for knowledge and power. Such opportunities do not strike twice,” urged Rakesh Ola IPS, Superintendent of Police, who was the chief guest for the concluding function.
 
 
 
 
Also present was Aasawari Shenolikar, Deputy Editor of The Hitavada; Tarun Patel, Vice-Chairman of CHME Society Nagpur Division; Kumar Kale Secretary, CHME Society, Nagpur; Ashwin Ghatate, Member CHME Society; Col J S Bhandari (Retd) Commandant and Ajay Shirke Head Master, Bhonsala Military School. Ola, in his speech, further added that success has no shortcut. “We must know the trades to become successful. Hard work and fighting fear should be given top priority. Fear of failure takes you away from goal. Have courage and you will move mountains,” he averred.
 
Ola was introduced by Commandant Col J S Bhandari (Retd). Earlier, Camper Mayank Patel presented the camp report and spoke of how the ten-day disciplined training has brought a change in their life. Prizes were awarded to winners of various competitions held during the camp tenure. The prizes were handed over by chief guest Rakesh Ola. The winners included Shantanu Chawre (Best in Obstacle - Senior Boys), Siddhi Mude (Best in Obstacle - Senior Girls), Varun Hanspal (Best Shooter - Senior Boys), Medha Kadam (Best in shooting Senior Girls), Mayant Patel (Best Rider - Senior Boys), Swanandi Dharmadhikari (Best rider - Senior Girls). Other awards handed over comprised Best Camper Award, won by Mayank Patel, (Senior Boys) and Shourya Bhowate of Junior Group. In the girls’ category, Vasudha Ranade and Sachi Chandak won awards for Best Camper Senior and Junior category respectively. ‘Bindas’ Boy award was conferred upon Neev Disawal and ‘Bindas’ Girl award was bagged by Manroop Kaur Bagga. Prior to the concluding cultural programme, that was held at the swimming pool site, the campers presented impressive demos on military obstacle training, horse riding, valley crossing, warfare techniques in which 56 campers took active part, under the watchful eyes of the military instructors. At the pool site, the cultural programme commenced with the offering petals to portrait of Bharat Mata and Dr Balakrishna Moonje.
 
Starting with the dance of ‘Gajanana Ganaraya’, the campers showcased various dance items like ‘Dankila’, ‘Mera Rang De Basanti Chola’ and concluded with ‘Pinga’. Saara Joshi anchored the programme while the cultural event was smartly anchored by Shreya Malaviya and Saniya Malani. Pawan Giripunje and his team deserve kudos for the choreography of the dance items. All the Military Instructors, teachers and staff of Bhonsala Military School toiled hard for the success of the camp. The presentations on the day of grand finale, proved the point to the hilt.
