Two absconding accused arrested in robbery case

To avoid any gruesome situation during the upcoming Lok Sabha Election-2019, Sehore police are working hard to nab miscreants and accused in various cases. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Sehore, Shashindra Singh Chauhan, police have got success in arresting two absconding habitual offenders who had an award of Rs 5000 each over them.
 
According to police, Sehore SHO Manoj Mishra received a call from one of police informer that absconding criminals Tabrez and Hafiz are sitting in Bal Vihar ground. After getting the information a team was made under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Sameer Yadav that included Kotwali SHO Manoj Mishra, Sub-Inspector Shailendra Singh Tomar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ram Singhwan Sharma, Subhash Katare, Sunil Jat, Chandrabhan Sen and Neeraj. When the team reached the spot two people who were sitting under a tin-shed tried to escape but the police team caught them with the help of force.
 
The arrested accused recognised as Tabrez and Hafiz. Tabrez, son of Banne Khan, 45, resident of Pukhta Mosque, Qasba, Sehore, and Mohammed Hafiz son of Mohammed Hussain alias Jada, 25, resident of Qasba, Sehore were arrested under Section 394 of IPC. Both the arrested criminals have many cases on them. There are 43 cases against Tabrez and 17 cases against Hafiz which include a robbery at night on March 9. Both the miscreants were at large from the same day.
