BJP lashes out at Cong govt over power issues

During BJP rule, uninterrupted power supply was ensured throughout the state. Even regular power supply was ensured in far-flung villages, said Sundrani
Bharatiya Janata Party while coming down on the incumbent Congress led state government, alleged that the state government had done nothing but deceived the people of Chhattisgarh. Commenting on the poll promises made by Congress regarding loan waiver and cutting down power bills by half, the BJP State Spokesperson Srichand Sundrani said farmers have been deceived by Congress in both the cases. Neither the Congress fulfilled its promise of complete loan waiver nor it is fulfilling the promise of cutting down power bills by half.
On the contrary, the power supply has been cut down to half and in many places power supply has been totally collapsed. Sundrani further added that the Congress leaders are now trying to hide their in-competency by leveling allegations against the previous BJP government and while doing so they are accepting the facts that under BJP rule, power supply has reached to every village and cent percent houses have got power connectivity under Saubhagya Scheme, which was launched by PM Narendra Modi. Since the Congress came to power, even the capital is suffering from irregular power supply.
In the name of maintenance, power supply is being regularly interrupted in the whole state, more severely in rural areas. Due to prevailing transfer industry in the state, the Congress government has lost its control over officials and they are working on will. During BJP rule, uninterrupted power supply was ensured throughout the state. Even regular power supply was ensured in far-flung villages. Under the PM Modi’s Saubhagya Scheme, every household in rural and urban areas have been given power connectivity, which the people never had imagined in near future.
However, since the Congress government has come to power, in order to give relaxation in power bills, it has curtailing power supply throughout the state and worst affected are rural areas. Due to this un-announced power cuts, people in rural areas are suffering under scorching heat wave conditions.
