CM asks party workers to work for victory in polls

AN IMPORTANT meeting of Congress workers led by Mp Rajya Sabha Vivek Krishna Tankha to discuss preliminary preparations for Lok Sabha elections was held on Wednesday. The meeting was held in special presence of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Addressing the meeting, Nath gave guidance to Congress workers of Jabalpur and asked to work for victory of the party in Lok Sabha elections.
 
Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that in the race of development, Jabalpur is lagging behind due to continuous ignorance on the part of BJP and its leaders. He said present and former Member of Parliament of Bharatiya Janata Party has done nothing concrete in this direction. Nath said that BJP is making an intentional bid to deviate minds of public on various issues from ground reality.
 
He said victory of Congress will bring new developments for Jabalpur. He assured that State Government will leave no stone unturned for development of Jabalpur and to bring Jabalpur amongst developed cities in the State. Speaking on the occasion, Tankha highlighted various issues related to development of Jabalpur and also highlighted lack of political will that hit development of Jabalpur. He further emphasised on chalking out a special strategy to bring public support for Congress in Lok Sabha elections.
 
On the occasion, Patan Assembly senior leader Udai Bhan Singh and Shatrudhan Singh inspired with Vivek Krishn Tankha joined Indian National Congress party and took membership in presence of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Eminent Congress leaders present in the meeting were Tarun Bhanot, Lakhan Ghanghoria, Sanjay Yadav, Vinay Saxena, Dinesh Yadav, Radheshayam Choubey, Divisional Observer, Abdul Hannan, Dr. Alok Chansoria, Ramesh Choudhary, Alok Mishra, Virendra Choubey, Roopendra Patel, Abishek Choukey, Neelesh Awasthi, Sammati Saini, Khiladi Singh Armo, Jamuna Maravi, Rajesh Tiwari, Chaman Shrivastava, Geeta Sharat Tiwari, Talvindar Gujral, Shambhu Sonkar, Shashank Dubeyh, Ajay Agrawal and others.
