3 persons killed in road accident at Sihora

A BMW car (MP28 CB 1111) collided head on with truck (MP09 HG0870) 
 
Reckless driving claimed life of three and left three others badly injured on Thursday morning around 6.30 am near Ganjtal road, Sihora falling under Sihora police station. A BMW car numbered MP 28 CB 1111 collided head on with speeding truck bearing registration number MP 09 HG 0870. A Muslim family from Junnardeo in Chhindwara district in four cars were returning back home having attended a marriage function at Ajmer. The ill-fated BMW car was leading other cars when rammed by the speeding truck. According to information from police, on Thursday morning, they were informed about accident near Ganjtal road, Sihora.
 
Having reached the accident spot, Laiq Siddique, resident of Gudi Mines Colony, Junnardeo, Chhindwara informed that, he, along with other family members and relatives, who attended a marriage function at Ajmer on 3.4.2019 night, were returning back to Chhindwara in four cars. Kausar Ali, his maternal brother, leading the family convoy, was driving BMW car bearing registration number MP 28 CB 1111 along with his wife sister Noori, a girl named as Sanna, Heena Kausar, wife of younger brother and niece Ahil. All the four vehicles were plying in a row. In a sudden development that took place soon after they entered Sihora by-pass, Ganjtal, a speeding truck numbered MP 09 HG 0870 driven at high speed rammed into BMW. Due to high intensity, the car fell in a culvert on the other side of the road. The appellant and others, who, having witnessed the mishap, reached the spot and found Kausar Ali(42), niece Ahil Ali (8) both resident from Gudi Mines Colony, Junnardeo, Chhindwara and Noori(38) resident of Rampurshanti Damoh Chhindwara lying dead.
 
While Sanna, Nasreen Bano and Heena sustained serious injuries. On being informed, Ambulance 108 reached the accident spot as the three badly injured were rushed to Government Hospital, Sihora. At the Government Hospital, owing to critical condition, the medical staff referred the victims to Jabalpur for intensive treatment. Cops carrying out investigation made panchnama and send the bodies for autopsy. A case under relevant sections of IPC has been registered by the police against the absconding truck driver. In the mishap, bodies were badly trapped inside as gas cutter was used to bring out bodies as the air bags of the car did not work soon after the collision took place. The car was lifted from the accident spot by crane. At Jabalpur, undergoing treatment, condition of three is reported to be critical and have been put on ventilator. After the autopsy was performed, the three bodies were handed over to the family members of the deceased.
