Celebrations galore on Tankha’s candidature from Jabalpur seat

The Central Election Committee of Congress, on Thursday, declared Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Vivek Krishna Tankha as party candidate from Jabalpur Parliamentary Constituency for Lok Sabha polls. The news spread wave of happiness amongst party workers. They distributed sweets and burst firecrackers. Party leaders and workers also organised felicitation programme at Baldevbagh and Chandalbhata. They felicitated Tankha. Senior leaders also extended gratitude to party’s central leadership for showing reliance on Tankha as party candidate from Jabalpur constituency. Extending thankfulness to party workers for the grand felicitation, Tankha said, he is vowed to development of the city The Congress candidate said, he would remain available round-the-clock for redressal of people’s problems.
He, while criticizing BJP for alleged backwardness of the constituency, said people got fed up with 25-year rule of BJP and now want change. Tankha said, Congress Government has recently conducted first Cabinet meeting in Jabalpur and showed its keenness for overall development of this prime city of Mahakoshal region. Earlier, State Minister, Lakhan Ghanghoria, MLA Sanjay Yadav, City President, Dinesh Yadav also expressed their views on the occasion and said the election would decide future of the city.
They said, victory of Vivek Tankha would ensure real development of the city. Later, Tankha performed worship at Sai temple and participated in Mahaarti. Amongst those also present on the occasion were Sanju Thakur, Rashid Suhel Siddiqui, Mahesh Pasene, Mukesh Rathore, Kamlesh Yadav, Rajesh Sonkar, Abhishek Yadav, Madan Laria, Pankaj Pandey, Ayodhya Tiwari, Deepak Choudhary and others.
