CM assures every possible help to kin of farmers in Hoshangabad

CHIEF Minister Kamal Nath met the families of victim farmers a day after fire claimed lives of three farmers in Hoshangabad and engulfed standing wheat crops in several acres of land. Chief Minister Nath assured of every possible help to the farmers’ kin. The fire was put to burn wheat stubbles spread into nearby fields and gutted wheat crops in at least four villages. CM Nath expressed grief on demise of three farmers and consoled their family members.
 
The district administration also sanctioned immediate financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to family of every deceased farmer. CM visited Dhowkheda and Resalpur villages respectively. He assured farmers that the Government will compensate loss of crop and will provide every necessary help to the affected families.
 
He was accompanied by former Union Minister Suresh Pachuri and Minister P C Sharma. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also reached the affected farmers and their families in Hoshangabad and assured of every possible help from his side. Notably, someone had lit fire to burn wheat stubble in a field. Due to wind, fire spread to nearby fields and then it became massive and engulfed countless fields, reducing wheat crop into ashes.
