BASF, Twinkle Club personality devpt camp concludes

The campers of Personality Development Camp organised by Bhonsala Adventure and Sports Foundation (BASF) and The Hitavada Twinkle Club displayed the well co-ordinated team work, discipline and patriotism during the concluding event on Thursday at Bhonsala Military School premises. This ten-day summer camp got an overwhelming response from campers who learned various activities and skills.
 
The demos staged by the campers, reflected on the importance of extra curricular activities and skills, needed for overall development of one’s personality. Tarun Patel, Vice-Chairman of Central Hindu Military Education Society (CHME), Nagpur Division was the chief guest of the concluding event. Aasawari Shenolikar, Deputy Editor of The Hitavada was the guest of honour while Col J S Bhandari (Retd) Commandant and Ajay Shirke Head Master, Bhonsala Military School also shared the dais. “In the modern era, youth require good guidance which will lead them towards success. World wants quality and it is possible with discipline and hard work,” said Tarun Patel during his speech.
 
Earlier, camper Divyansh Sinha presented the camp report and spoke of how the ten-day disciplined training has brought a change in their life. Various competitions were held during the camp for both boys and girls in their respective age group categories. The winners were awarded during the ceremony at the hands of guests. Manthan Mowale (Best in Obstacle - Boys), Suhani Singh (Best in Obstacle - Girls), Nilabh Bibwe (Best Shooter - Boys), Vaishnavi Firke (Best Shooter - Girls), Yash Digarse (Best Rider - Boys), Janhvi Kataria (Best Rider - Girls), Divyansh Sinha (Best Camper - Senior Boys), Govinda Mundada (Best Camper - Junior Boys), Jiya Gawande (Best Camper - Senior Girls), Yashika Kakde (Best Camper - Junior Girls), Aadit Patil (Bindas Boys) and Akshara Sapate (Bindas Girl) were the winners who were honoured during the event.
 
The campers presented impressive demonstrations on military obstacle training, horse riding, valley crossing, warfare techniques, under the watchful eyes of the military instructors. A total of 82 campers participated in outdoor events which comprised of slithering from the helicopter, landing rope bridge, balance walk, commando crawl etc. At the pool site, the cultural programme started with the dance of ‘Gajanana Ganaraya’, the campers showcased various dance items like ‘Dankila’, ‘Mera Rang De Basanti Chola’ and concluded with ‘Pinga’. Tanvi Agrawal compered the programme and Siddhi Somkuwar and Krishnika Agrawal anchored the cultural event. All the Military instructors, teachers and staff of Bhosala Military School toiled hard for the success of the camp.
