He had submitted his research work in 2012 to get his first Ph.D from a University in Madhya Pradesh. It got delayed. Waiting period was so long that one could have got irritated and lost patience. Yet it did not make him impatient. Instead, he gave a thought to use this waiting period for positive outcome and got himself registered for another PhD at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU).
By the time he completed research at RTMNU and submitted thesis, he received his PhD from Madhya Pradesh University. After six months of receiving his first PhD, this year RTMNU too awarded him a PhD. His patience made all the difference and now he has become rare case of double PhD holder.
Professor Dr P B Maheshwary, Director of J D College of Engineering and Management did register for his first Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Machine Design from University’s Institute of Technology, conducted college of Rajeev Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. His topic of research was “Computer Aided Analysis of Belt Stretch during starting and stopping Transient stage of Medium Duty Belt Conveyor”. His guides were Dr J P Modak and Dr V K Sethi. He submitted his research in 2012.
Dr Maheshwary got himself registered in 2015 in RTMNU. This PhD too was in Mechanical Engineering but the topic was different. It was with Thermal Engineering as specialisation. His topic of research is “Experimental Optimisation of Heat Transfer Performance in Heat Exchanger by using Nano Fluid”. This time his guides were Dr C C Handa, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, KDK College of Engineering and Dr K R Nemade. By the time he submitted his research in 2018, he received the first PhD and in 2019, RTMNU too awarded him the Ph.D.
With two PhDs in hand, Dr Maheshwary has included himself in the list of very few PhD degree recipients who have the rare honour of
