Police seized two pistols, two live cartridges and empty shell from them
Adhartal police nabbed three habitual criminals and seized two pistols, two live cartridges and empty shell from them. The arrested have been identified as Rahul Thakur (23), son of Gulab Singh Thakur, resident of Suhagi in Adhartal, Vivek alias Chuha (19), son of Nami alias Sanjay Pandey of Welcome Colony, Patel Nagar in Maharajpur and Shubham Mishra (23), son of Vijay Mishra, resident of Suman Nagar, Richhai in Ranjhi.
CSP, Adhartal, Kaushal Singh informed this while addressing a press conference, on Saturday. It may be noted that, under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Nimish Agrawal (IPS), police have started a special campaign against habitual criminals and use of firearms under the supervision of Additional SP (South), Dr Sanjeev Uike and CSP, Adhartal, Kaushal Singh. During the campaign, police received information about some suspects seen with firearms in the area. Taking prompt action on the information, a police team led by SHO of Adhartal police station, Yogesh Singh Tomar started a search and trapped Rahul Thakur in Suhagi and seized a pistol and a live cartridge from him.
Thereafter, police arrested Vivek Pandey alias Chuha near Maharajpur Bawli and seized a country-made pistol, a live cartridge and an empty shell from him. Similarly, continuing the rigorous search, police team nabbed Shubham Mishra near Municipal Corporation’s Zone Office in Suhagi and seized a sharp-edged weapon from him. Adhartal police have registered a case under sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act against Rahul Thakur and Vivek Pandey alias Chuha and another case under Section 25 of the Arms Act was registered against Shubham Mishra. In further investigations, police learnt that three miscreants are habitual criminals and booked them under Section 110 of CrPC and took action against them under Section 122 of CrPC. Accused were apprehended with active working of police team led by SHO of Adhartal, Yogesh Singh Tomar, SI, K S Parte, ASI, Tekchand Sharma, Head Constables, Santosh Pandey, Mohan Tiwari, Mukesh Patharia, Constables, Sanjay Dixit, Sunil Dubey, Ritesh Shukla, Devendra Singh, Santulal, Vinod Singh and Avnish Singh.
