NRHA, NMC conduct fire safety training

Taking safety subject on priority, Nagpur Residential Hotels Association (NRHA) in co-ordination with Fire Brigade Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) conducted fire safety training at Fire Office, NMC, Nagpur. Abhijit Bangar, Municipal Commissioner, and Rajendra Uchake - NMC Chief Fire Officer (CFO), took keen interest in the event and suggested that other related associations should also take such fire drill which is in the larger interest of the society.
 
Tejinder Singh Renu, President of NRHA, said, “I am glad that so many hoteliers and their staff attended the workshop whereby they are trained to take initial fire safety requirements and further guide their customers to safety in case of any emergency. NRHA thanks entire team of Nagpur Fire Brigade for conducting such invaluable session on fire safety and raising our knowledge on this immense important subject.”
 
Fire Brigade Department Officers, Rajendra Dubey - Station Officer Civil Fire Station, Dharmraj Nakod - Station Officer, Narendra Nagar Fire Station, Sunil Dokare - Station Officer, Sakkardara Fire Station, Keshav Kothe – Assistant Station Officer, Sunil S Raut – Assistant Station Officer, D G Nimbalkar – ex NMC Fire Officer and C Katore – ex NFSC Officer explained all the basic known causes and effects of fire. The session also included on-ground activities that demonstrated on how to prevent fire, how to implement emergency procedures, how to prevent spread of fire, different types of fire extinguishers and how to use them correctly and effectively.
