‘Entrepreneurs have brought development in society’

Under the flagship programme of Ministry of MSME, Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) in association with NSIC conducted 18 days training programme for SC/ST candidates. The primary objective of the programme was that the candidates who undergo training will be able to set up their own enterprises by taking the help of Government agencies.
 
 
 
The programme was inaugurated by Nishchay Shelke, President DICCI-Western India. Rajesh Bhoyar of Industries Department, Nagpur, Alok Mishra, Regional Officer of Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development , Pradip Ingle, Centre Head and Hemant Waghmare, District Project Officer were prominently present on the occasion.
During the training programme, the 40 participants were enlightened about technical education by 34 experts from various fields. Aparna Das and Shibu from National SC/ST Hub, New Delhi also guided the candidates. There were also industrial visit to MIDC, Hingna.
 
They visited industries like Saboo Plastics, Saoji Masale, Vishwakarma Plastic, Accurate Printing and Packaging, Rani Tea Company and Orange City Garment Cluster, Kamptee Road.
 
During the valedictory programme, Sharad Waghmare, Manager of Lead Bank, Ramdas Tekam of NSIC, Kamal Nayak and Sangita Kamble, Programme Co-ordinator expressed their views. They told the participants to become job givers by setting up industries.
 
Entrepreneurs have always brought development in the society, they said. Abhishek Malavi conducted the proceedings while Hemant Waghmare proposed the vote of thanks.
