Cops nab 2 thieves involved in 4 thefts, recover booty worth Rs 6.03 lakh

Police detected four theft cases by putting behind bars two thieves and recovered stolen valuables, including a Hyundai I10 car, and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 6.03 lakh from their possession. Accused have been identified as Roshan Suresh Pache (23), Kanha Nagari, opposite Hingna Tehsil Office, and Ajay Ramsingh Warkhede (23), a resident of Lane No 1, Ramteke Nagar, Beltarodi. A police team on night patrol duty chased and nabbed Roshan, who was fleeing in a Hyundai I10 car after an accident in Sitabuldi area. After verifying Roshan’s record, cops found that he was involved in criminal activities. During questioning, Roshan spilled the beans.
 
He confessed to stealing the car with the assistance of Ajay. Police then arrested Ajay. Besides seizing the Hyundai I10 car, cops recovered stolen Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MH-49/KA-9640), LED TV, a computer monitor, a Sony camera, Yashika auto-flash, four cellphones, a Titan wrist watch, a silver coin, a gold mangalsutra and other valuables collectively worth Rs 6.03 lakh from their possession. With their arrest, cops detected three cases of theft and house break-ins registered at Beltarodi Police Station and one at Sadar Police Station.
 
The arrests were made by API Praveen Kale, PSI A P Raut, PSI K R Chaudhary, NPC NPC Prafulla Mankar, NPC Yuvraj Mote, NPC Channa Bhandarkar, PC Ganesh Joglekar and PC Pankaj Nikam under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Chinmay Pandit, Assistant Commissioner Rajendra Boraoke and Senior Police Inspector Jagvendra Rajput.
