Making a direct attack on PM Narendra Modi, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that Prime Minister should tell that what he has done in five years and what he wants to do in next five years. However, a unique tradition has commenced in country wherein only publicity has been done and no work took place, she said. Priyanka Gandhi was addressing an election rally in Ratlam on Monday. Referring to PM, she said “By hearing him you will feel that works which took place in five years have not happened in last 70 years. There is difference in his publicity and reality.” She stated that now PM Narendra Modi has started to describe him as ‘Tapasvi’.

And penance breaks the arrogance and destroys anger and hatred. “His penance has not broken the hatred and such is his arrogance has grown that he speaks in lofty manner. He has not visited house of even a single poor to know that how he is living…..,” she asserted. She accused PM Modi of annulling land acquisition law. On the other hand, Congress government in Chhattisgarh took land from industrialists and returned to tribals. There was much ado on Forest Right Act but 60 per cent claims were rejected. “This is the reality of Modi government,” she told.

She alleged that PM Modi ignored farmers during five years. He does not give appropriate price to produce of farmers and did not give fertiliser and seed on time. PM remained silenced on suicide by thousands of farmers and when farmers went to Delhi and demanded that he should hear their problems for five minutes, he preferred to remain mum.

She asserted that PM Narendra Modi toured entire world, met Presidents of America, China, Japan and Europe but he did not have time to meet poor people in the country. She urged people not to get misguided and become aware. Trying to corner PM on promise of 2 crore jobs every year, she told that she is granddaughter of Indira Gandhi and understands tradition and culture of tribals. She also spoke about Congress’s NYAY scheme. On this occasion, CM Kamal Nath, ex-union minister Kantilal Bhuria and other leaders were also present.
