Collector holds meeting with officials on training programme for vote counting

Collector and District Returning Officer Dr Sudam Khade on Tuesday held a meeting of officials and employees appointed for counting of votes in the State capital. Khade discussed with them about the training programme. He also gave necessary directives about the arrangements for counting of votes at Old Jail premises.

Collector said that according to the directives of Election Commission, any person excepting some identified officials will not be allowed to carry cell phone on the premises of Old Jail on the day of counting of votes. Mediapersons will be allowed to carry cell phone up to media centre only.
