Aditi only one from divn in XII merit list

Aditi Uppal, a student from Shree Balaji Public School, Vijay Nagar is the only student from Jabalpur division who created a place in the State-level merit list of Class XII. Aditi obtained seventh rank in Biology Group with 93.8 percent. The daughter of Pradeep Kumar Uppal and Dr Vineeta Uppal has scored distinction in all the subjects.
While talking with ‘The Hitavada’, Aditi said, “I was consistent in studies throughout the year, hence did not feel any extra burden during examination. Students don’t have to study for hours. Just be regular and revise all those topics they feel are difficult, but important.” Though she has the credit of being the only student from Jabalpur division in the State merit list, but she was not satisfied with the marks she obtained. She scored 99 in Chemistry, 98 in Biology, 93 in Physics, 92 in Hindi and 87 in English.
She was very disappointed with the marks she scored in English as according to her, she did well, particularly in English. She credited her supportive school teachers and her parents for her achievements. Conveying a message to her juniors, who will appear for the examination next year, she said “Students who will appear for Class XII exam next year should pursue their studies keeping their mind calm and stress-free.” An ardent fan of Indian cricket team, Aditi after making it big in her Board Examination, is eagerly waiting for Cricket World Cup to start. While she never read non-syllabus books including novels, she attended coaching classes too. Aditi wants to serve the society as a doctor like her mother and elder sister.
