The top three scorers of class X at district-level comprised Abhilasha Dubey and Sakshi Mishra, who jointly topped the list with 97.2 percent, Rimsha Tanveer Siddiqui and Rudransh Gupta scored second position with 97 percent, while Kuldeep Shukla ranked third with 96.6 percent respectively
 
In both the class XII and X, girl students outshone boys in the district-level list
 
 
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced results of Class X and XII on Wednesday afternoon. The total passing percentage of class XII and X was 72.37 percent and 61.32 percent respectively at the State-level. Drasti Sanodiya topped Humanities group, while Arya Jain and Vivek Gupta topped Science and Commerce groups respectively at the State-level merit list of class XII. The passing percentage of Jabalpur division was 74.20 in class XII and 62.73 in class X respectively, while in Jabalpur district, the passing percentage of class XII and X remained 66.37 percent and 54.16 percent respectively. In both the class XII and X, girl students outshone boys with a major difference in the district-level list. In class X, in comparison to 49.12 passing percent obtained by boys, the girl students scored 59.01, while in class XII, girl students scored 71.55 percent in comparison to 60.54 obtained by boys, respectively.
 
A total of 94,673 students, including 50,594 girls and 44,079 boys appeared for class XII examination in different subject groups from Jabalpur division. The total passing percentage remained 74.84, including 71.78 percent obtained by boys and 77.52 percent by girls respectively. The passing percentage of different subject groups included Humanities total passing percentage remained 74.20 (including 71.62 percent by boys and 75.95 percent by girls), Science 76.38 percent (including 73.80 percent by boys and 78.60 percent by girls), Commerce 69.54 (including 63.25 percent by boys and 77.48 percent by girls), Agriculture 78.05 total passing percentage (including 77.30 percent by boys and 79.18 percent by girls), while in Home Science, the total passing percentage remained 82.67 obtained by the girls, respectively. Similarly, a total of 24,498 students, including 11,909 boys and 12,375 girls appeared in class X Board examination from regular category in Jabalpur division. Out of this, 8,598 students, including 3,590 boys and 5,008 girls scored first division marks.
 
While 5,839 students, including 3,148 boys and 2,691 girls, appeared from private category, out of which, 61 students, including 32 boys and 29 girls, obtained first division marks. The overall passing percentage of private students remained 12.13 percent, which include 12.71 percent girl and 11.64 percent boys respectively. The students who made it to the district-level merit list of class XII included Sadaf Hussain (88.4) and Tanu Kol (85), both from Government Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School in Humanities group, Sneha Vishwakarma from Tanya Convent HS School, Patan (94.2), Shivani Sahu (94) and Satyam Sahu (93.6), both from Government Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School in Science (Maths and Biology), Shreyansh Pandey from Maharashtra HS School (93.4) and Sejal Sahu from Guru Nanak Girl’s HS School (92) in Commerce Group, Alok Chaturvedi from Government Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School (87.4) in Agriculture and Zeenat Afroz from Dargah Islami HS School, Gohalpur (84.4) in Home Science group respectively. Similarly, the top three scorers of class X Board Examinations at district-level comprised Abhilasha Dubey from Government MLB Girl’s HS School and Sakshi Mishra from Mispa Mission HS School JP Nagar Adhartal jointly topped the list with 97.2 percent, Rimsha Tanveer Siddiqui from St. Norbert’s Girl’s HS School and Rudransh Gupta from Government Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School scored second position with 97 percent, while Kuldeep Shukla from Government Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Model HS Excellence School ranked third with 96.6 percentage, respectively.
 
 
 
 
 
5 students of Pt Lajja Shankar Jha School in class XII merit list

Five students from Jabalpur-based Pandit Lajja Shankar Jha School of Excellence obtained a place for themselves in the district-level merit list of class XII. These students included Sadaf Hussain (Art), Tanu Kol (Art), Shivani Sahu (Maths), Satyam Sahu (Maths) and Alok Chaturvedi (Agriculture). Similarly, two students from the school, including Kuldeep Shukla and Rudransh Gupta, enlisted themselves in the district-level merit list of class X. The school obtained 97.4 passing percentage in class XII. Out of 356 students appeared from the school in the Higher Secondary Board Examination, 326 scored first division marks. Similarly, out of 229 students appeared for class X Board Examination, 228 obtained 99.6 percent as total passing percentage with first division marks. The students credited the effective guidance of school Principal, Veena Bajpai and their subject teachers for their outstanding achievements in both the examinations.
