Osheen to represent India in Junior NBA Competition in USA

The upcoming basketball player Osheen Singh would represent India in second Junior NBA Global competition to be conducted at Florida from August 6, 2019 to August 11, 2019. The boys and girls from 13 years to 14 years age group would participate in the tournament. The trainer of Osheen, Vishwamitra Awardee and Administrator Sports Authority of India (SAI) Jabalpur and international basketball coach, Kuldep Singh Barar said that Oshen performed best in the Junior NBA Inter-Zonal Competition by representing the Western Region team.
 
After the end of the camp, 10 boys and 10 girls were selected in Indian team also. For the Junior NBA camp, three players from Madhya Pradesh were also selected. However, Osheen Singh of city was selected for Indian team in the end. Osheen Singh practices morning and evening at basketball court situated in Yuva Bhavan, Rampur, Sethi Nagar.
 
She is student of Indian day boarding scheme of SAI, Jabalpur. Name of her father is Shivam Singh and Bhuvneshwari Singh is her mother. The international coach Anil Abraham, Madhu Yadav, SAI’s Santosh Rajput, Secretary Olympic Association Digvijay Singh, Ram Tiwari, Jagjet Singh, Ravi Pandey, Shreya Tiwari, Gulshan Sharma, Rakesh Mishra and others have congratulated her on the occasion.
