BMC Commissioner Vijay Datta reviews Kitab Ghar Yojana

Kitab Ghar Yojana: Containers will be placed in each ward 
 
For the collection of text books and other competitive books under ‘Kitab Ghar’ Yojana, the civic body administration will make arrangements of placing boxes in each ward in the city, said BMC Commissioner Vijay Datta in a review meeting here on Saturday. BMC Commissioner Datta directed the officials concerned to felicitate the BMC employees and the organisations helping in collection of books under Kitab Ghar Yojana.
 
Datta said that the employees who will collect highest number of books will be felicitated. He also directed to keep religious and competitive books in the libraries and reading rooks of BMC. Additional Commissioners duo Kamal Solanki and Ranveer Singh, Deputy Commissioner Harish Gupta and others were present in the meeting. BMC Commissioner Vijay Datta reviewing the yojana and received information in detail about collection of books by the Zonal Officers, Assistant Health Officers and employees posted at libraries and reading rooms of corporation.
 
He also directed to provide books to needy students through Asra Jankalyan Samiti. BMC Commissioner has directed the officials concerned to provide containers to the ward in charge of each ward for collection of books. Ward in charge will inspired the citizens and will collect books in these containers and later will deposit the collected books in Kitab Ghar. As many as 708 books were collected from different wards in the city on Saturday.
