Large quantity of carry bags, disposals, spoons seized

In compliance of Supreme Court order imposing ban on use of plastic carry bags and disposals. On instruction of Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Rajesh Tiwari, revenue staff led by Revenue Officer Durgesh Gupta swung in action. The staff seized large quantity of carry bags, disposals, spoons etc from business establishments.
 
Tiwari told that earlier also understanding was given by visiting the shops engaged in business of plastic materials. He said the action will continue further. CMO issuing warning said next action will be very strict. Complaint will be registered, penalty will be imposed and FIR may also be lodged against violators. CMO Tiwari appealed to the citizens not to use such materials which pollute environment. Banned articles are being used without hesitation in marriage or other functions but now organiser will be penalised for spreading filth. Also organisers will be made available government basic services under the condition of not using banned plastic materials.
 
Only then building on rent and drinking water will be made available. If organisers violate the condition heavy penalty will be imposed on them. During the action Assistant Revenue Officer Domar Banchhore, Sonu Dewangan, Jayant Sahu, Bhanu Chouhan, Shyam Ratan Patel and Dev Kumar Verma were in the team.
