LEADER of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Gopal Bhargava has fired yet another salvo at Congress by writing a letter to Governor Anandiben Patel, requesting to call special session of Assembly to discuss burning problems like water crisis, law and order situation etc, cropped up during Congress Government. He is also of the view that BJP may think of demanding floor test of incumbent Government in coming time. But as of now, he wants special session to discuss burning issues. In the letter written to Governor, he stated that six months have passed for new Government and during this period, State is facing serious water crisis.

Law and order situation has deteriorated and There is no payment of wheat procurement to farmers, he claimed. Bhargava also said that farmers are confused over loan waiver and beneficiaries are not getting benefit of popular schemes like Sambal. In the last two days of previous Assembly session, the above mentioned subjects could not be discussed.

Owing to this reason, a large section of society is enraged. When asked by ‘The Hitavada’ that whether he had made any specific demand to call special session for floor test by the Kamal Nath Government, he said that as of now, this subject is not in discussion.

“But will see what party decides on it in coming days,” he told. He told that during Budget Session there were be ample opportunities for Opposition to demand division on demands and if the Financial Bill fell then Government will have no option rather than stepping down. However, as of now, BJP is neither focusing on floor test of ruling party nor it has any such plan.
