Confident BJP sweeps MP n BJP wins 24 seats and leading on 4 seats n CM’s son Nakul Nath wins Chhindwara seat 
 
RIDING high on strong Modi wave, BJP registered landslide victory in Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. As per the election results the BJP won 28 out of 29 Lok Sabha seats as Congress had only Chhindwara seat in its kitty. According to the website of Election Commission of India by 10.44 pm, BJP had won 24 seats and was leading on four other Lok Sabha seats in the State. Congress could manage to register victory only on one seat.
 

 
 
The result chart of Election Commission of India said that BJP emerged victorious on Lok Sabha seats including Bhopal, Balaghat, Betul, Damoh, Dewas, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Hoshangabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Khandwa, Khargone, Mandla, Rajgarh, Sagar, Satna, Shahdol, Tikamgarh, Ujjain, Vidisha etc. The process to declare results on remaining seats including Rewa, Sidhi, Morena and Bhind was under way till this report was filed. BJP registered thumping victory on Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. BJP candidate Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur defeated Congress candidate and former CM Digvijay Singh by a huge margin of 3,64,822 votes. Pragya Thakur got 8,66,482 votes.
 
Digvijay Singh secured 5,01,660 votes. BJP candidate from Balaghat Dr Dhal Singh Bisen defeated Congress candidate Madhu Bhagat with a margin of 2,42,066 votes. On Betul seat, BJP candidate Durgadas Uikey defeated Congress candidate Ramu Tekam by a margin of 3,60,241 votes. In Damoh Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Prahlad Patel edged out Congress candidate Pratap Singh by a margin of 3,53,411 votes. In Dewas Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Mahendra Singh Solanky defeated Congress candidate Prahalad Singh Tipania by a huge margin of 3,72,249 votes. BJP’s Dhar Lok Sabha candidate Chhattar Singh Darbar outshined Congress candidate Girwal Dinesh by a margin of 1,56,029 votes. BJP managed to win prestigious Guna seat by defeating Congress candidate Jyotiraditya Scindia. BJP candidate Dr K P Yadav defeated Jyotiraditya Scindia by a huge margin of 1,25,549 votes. BJP also emerged victorious on Gwalior seat. BJP candidate Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar defeated Congress candidate Ashok Singh by a margin of 1,46,842 votes. Hoshangabad Lok Sabha seat is also in BJP’s kitty. Uday Pratap Singh trounced Congress candidate Shailendra Diwan Chandrabhan Singh by a massive margin of 5,53,682 votes.
 
In Indore too, BJP recorded resounding victory. BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani defeated Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi by a margin of 5,47,754 votes. BJP State President Rakesh Singh won Lok Sabha election from Jabalpur by defeating Congress candidate Vivek Tankha by a margin of 4,54,744 votes. Khajuraho seat has also gone into the account of BJP. BJP candidate V D Sharma defeated Congress candidate Maharani Kavita Singh Natiraja by a margin of 4,92,382 votes. BJP retained Khandwa seat as its candidate and former State President Nandkumar Singh Chouhan defeated Congress candidate and former State Congress President Arun Yadav by a margin of 2,73,343 votes. BJP also won Khargone seat. BJP candidate Gajendra Umrao Singh Patel defeated Congress candidate Dr Govind Subhan Mujalda by a margin of 2,02,510 votes. Mandla seat was also pocketed by BJP as Faggan Singh Kulaste registered thumping victory against Congress candidate Kamal Singh Maravi with a margin of 97,674 votes. BJP once again emerged victorious on Mandsaur seat. BJP candidate Sudhir Gupta won the election by a margin of 3,76,734 votes.
 
 
He defeated Congress candidate Meenakshi Natrajan. BJP registered victory on Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat. BJP candidate Rodmal Nagar defeated Congress candidate Mona Sustani by a margin of 4,31,019 votes. Congress lost Ratlam seat to BJP. Congress candidate and former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria faced defeat against BJP candidate Guman Singh Damor. Damor won with a margin of 9,06,36 votes. BJP candidate Rajbahadur Singh won Sagar Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 3,05,542 votes against Congress candidate Prabhu Singh Thakur. BJP’s Satna candidate Ganesh Singh registered thumping victory by defeating Congress candidate Rajaram Tripathi by a margin of 2,31,473 votes. BJP candidate from Shahdol Himadri Singh emerged victorious by defeating Congress candidate Pramila Singh by a huge margin of 4,03,333.
 
Though election of Sidhi seat was not declared when this report was filed but it is clear that BJP candidate Rithi Pathak will win the election by defeating Congress candidate and former Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh by a margin of 2,86,524 votes. BJP also registered victory on Tikamgarh seat as Dr Virendra Kumar won election by a margin of 3,48,059 votes. He defeated Congress candidate Kiran Ahirwar. BJP’s Ujjain candidate Anil Firozia registered victory by a margin of 3,65,637 votes against Congress candidate Babulal Malviya. BJP also managed to retain Vidisha seat. BJP’s Ramakant Bhargava won election by a huge margin of 5,03,084 votes and defeated Congress candidate Shailendra Patel.
