Rajiv Bhawan wears deserted look

Chhattisgarh State Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan located at Shankar Nagar wore a deserted look throughout the day on Thursday as the trends showed that the Congress candidates are trailing in nine Lok Sabha constituencies out of 11 in the state. Only few security personnel and security guards were seen strolling at the Congress State party office.
 
Congress party was leading only in Bastar and Korba Lok Sabha constituencies. Not a single senior party leader reached the party office on the day as the trends. Congress candidate from Bastar Lok Sabha constituency Deepak Baij maintained his lead all time against BJP candidate Baiduram Kashyap.
 
In Korba Lok Sabha constituency Jyotsana Mahant of the Congress was leading against BJP candidate Jyoti Nand Dubey. Chief Minister and President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) Bhupesh Baghel was scheduled to visit the State party office Rajiv Bhawan between 2 pm and 3 pm but his visit was rescheduled.
