Book ‘Broken is The New Beautiful’ was released at Swami Vivekananda Library on Sunday. Chief guest of the programme was Dr Asha Shukla VC Dr B R Ambedkar Univeristy, Mhow. Other eminent guests were Professor Anil Gupta, Professor Sunita Soni etc. Author Garima Pradhan’s first book titled ‘A girl date head to be strong’ also received good response earlier. Born and brought up in Bhopal, she is known for her expression of words. Author Garima Pradhan has also been awarded with ‘Best Writer Bhopal’ in a radio contest. ‘Broken is the New Beautiful’ is based on life of seven people and the truth, which is actually superstitious. According to the author, now the time has come that people learn to see truth fight with fear and end blind faith. Main character of the story is happiness and who will accept the world because of superstition.
This story will be helpful to every person who is standing at the age of marriage and is looking for his perfect match. Further she says every person is beautiful, who has seen a difficult situation in life, whether it is conflict, criticism, danger or someone has lost his or her loved one. Her strong words and powerful expression and public voting were conferred on ‘Best Writer Bhopal’ awarded in 2018. Librarian Yatish Bhatele said that story of ‘Broken is the new beautiful’ is based on life of seven people and confusion between superstition and truth based reality.
According to the author, now people should learn to face truth without fear. Main character of this story is happy and will she be able to accept the world because of superstition or not is the challenge in front of her. This book is dedicated to every person who has tried to break or who is tired to face some criticism or condition. The author claims that the broken and scar makes some one look beautiful and winner is the one which accepts every challenge.
