Kids charmed by ‘Zero Shadow Day’

It was not any miracle, it was just an occasion called ‘Zero Shadow Day’, which dazed Bhilaians, especially children, who were finding their shadow in sweltering noon of Sunday. It may be mentioned that ‘Zero Shadow’ defines the moment when the Sun is exactly overhead and the shadow falls directly under you and there is not even slightest of angle to the shadow.
 
On Sunday noon, it happened in Bhilai but depending on regions latitude and longitude positions it occurs in different places on different days. In addition, Zero Shadow Day is not a rare occasion and it falls twice in a year including once between December to June and the other one in the later part of the year. First occurrence is normally visible can be witnessed in most of the parts in India but second occurrence normally go unnoticed since it ocures in rainy season.
 
On Sunday noon at about 12:02 minutes, in the blistering heat of over 44 degree Celsius, the hot sun played a trick and it was not possible for people to see their own shadow for a couple of minutes but gradually they become accustom and located their way to respective destinations before capturing their picture with zero shadow and uploaded it to social media platforms.
