Gosikhurd project work to be completed by 2020: Fadnavis

The work of Gosikhurd Irrigation Project would be completed by 2020 after obtaining necessary permissions, said Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister, on Monday. He was taking a review of the works of Gosikhurd project, roads, railway, Metro and other basic facilities during a video conferencing.

Ajoy Mehta, Chief Secretary, Praveen Pardeshi, Municipal Commissioner, Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Nitin Karir, Principal Secretary, Town Planning,, Anoop Kumar, Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Bhushan Gagrani, Principal Secretary to the CM, Manisha Mhaiskar, Principal Secretary, Urban Development, Vikas Kharage, Principal Secretary, Forest, Milind Mhaiskar, Vice-Chairman of MHADA and Chief Executive Officer, and others participated in the video conferencing. Fadnavis said that the work of Wardha-Nagpur and Ahmednagar-Beer-Parli railway track would begin shortly. The issues like Mumbai and Hinjwadi to Shivaji Nagar were discussed.
