564 students from IIT-Home qualify for JEE Advanced

AS PER the JEE Main 2019 final result declared on April 29, 564 students out of 668 from IIT-Home have qualified the examination. These students are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced and will be competing with approximately 2 lakh JEE Main qualified students all over India for 12,000 seats in the prestigious IITs. The success rate of the institute in JEE Main 2019 has been 84.4 per cent which means 21 out of every 25 students at IIT-Home have qualified the examination.
 
Total 466 of the qualified students have qualified in general category, while 98 have qualified in different reserved category lists like OBC, SC, ST and EWS. The list of qualified students include 475 boys (84%) and 89 girls (16%). Abhishek Gandhi (AIR 322) is the institute topper from IIT-Home followed by Shivanshu Jain (AIR 554), Krushna Bhattad (AIR 680) and Palash Sharma (AIR 902).
 
A total of four students secured ranks in top 1,000 All India Rank, 20 students secured positions in top 5,000 AIR and 55 students stood in top 10,000 in the country. It is worth noting that a total 69 students have secured more than 99 percentile marks. Gunjan Turkar with (AIR 5,313) is the girl topper from IIT-Home. Aman Mandaokar (OBC AIR 193), Ayush Joshi (SC AIR 20) and Pramegh Uikey (ST AIR 46) are the toppers from IIT-Home.
