Summer camp for bodybuilding, power lifting commences

A summer coaching camp for imparting free coaching on Bodybuilding, Weightlifting, Power Lifting and Wrestling was inaugurated at Sports Complex of Forest Department in Pandri. Raipur District Body Building Association and Achiever United Health are jointly organising the month-long camp from May 1 to 31. Raipur District Bodybuilding Association Secretary Manik Tamrakar said that participants between the age group of 9 and 17 are attending the coaching camp in large numbers.

Labhansh Dewangan, Kunal Dewangan, Pankaj Kumar, Upendra Kashyap, Gulshan Sahu, Kunal Sahu, Aryan Kanaujia and Neeraj Sonkar among other participants in the camp. Technical aspects of the coaching are being taken care of by international power lifter Santosh Soni and weight lifter Ashok Sahu. Present during the inauguration of the camp were Andhra Bank Manager Tusar Kranti Rai, Ustad Babulal Sahu, Nirmal Bharti, Santram and Manish Dhimar.
