Raipur police interact with masses through Facebook Live

Raipur police under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shaikh Arif Husen has initiated an innovative move of creating awareness on wide range of issues and simultaneously establishing direct communication with mass by utilising social media. Under this move, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Pankaj Chandra, ASP (IUCAW) Amrita Sori Dhruv, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Satish Thakur on Wednesday have interaction with common public through Facebook live on official page of Raipur police (@raipurpolice4u).

On the occasion, the officials answered the questions raised by people. Addressing on the Facebook live, ASP Chandra said presently, people in very large number spent their maximum time on social media platform and this is the only medium through which direct communication with common people could be established.

Raipur police’s prime object is to associate with larger population and resolve their problems. In recent time, social media turned out to be a strongest and simple medium to get associated with huge population and create awareness among them. He further added that personnel of Raipur police will be turning live on Facebook page every Wednesday to answer the queries of people.
