As a result of the gusty winds trees were uprooted in many parts of the city disrupting traffic. The hoardings in many parts collapsed and there was total

disarray. The SSP himself was on round to streamline traffic and gave necessary instructions to his subordinates.
The power feeders in Kachna Mathpuraina and Khamardih were affected and even at night electricity could not be restored at many places.

Hundreds of trees and large branches ripped apart. RMC staff was pressed into emergency services with full force to clear the roads blocked by large fallen trees.
