‘Sambhageeya Mrignayanee Handicraft and Handloom Fair -2019’ offering exclusive Summer collection of Handloom and Handicraft by state and national award recipient artists from different parts of the State, commenced on Friday. The ten days fair opened in a graceful ceremony of national award recipient weaver from Ujjain, Rizwan Khan, Shovel Khan and artisans from Mandsore.

 

 

 

Handicraft and Handloom Fair - 2019 is being organised by Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Hastshilp ewam Hathkargha Vikas Nigam sponsored by Commissioner Handloom and Handicraft Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh at Gole Bazar ground from May 2 to May 12.

 

The special Summer Collection by Madhya Pradesh Government's Emporium "Mrignayanee along with best traditional handloom range of Madhya Pradesh Handloom Cotton and Silk like Chanderi, Maheshwari, Malburry Silk, Kosa Saries, Suits, Special Cotton dress material from different regions, handloom bedsheets and other handloom items and handicraft, leather fashion accessories, wallets, purses and much more for the visitors. ML Sharma, convenor of the 'Sambhageeya Mrignayanee Handicraft and Handloom Fair - 2019' says that since last many years the Saint Ravidas MP Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation, Government of Madhya Pradesh has been organising fair in Jabalpur and the fair has become a regular event of Summer season. The ten days event offers various special items for visitors and that too at very economic rates directly from the weavers and artisans.

He added that for genuine quality every handloom and handicraft product offered in the fair by artisans and weavers comes with quality assurance of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

 

He added in order to provide a platform to the artisans and weavers to interact directly with the customers and to learn directly expectations of customers, present market trends and demand as well customers get genuine products at economic cost directly from producer in such exhibitions.
