Women Social Service Committee (WSSC) of Central Railway’s (CR) Nagpur Division felicitated Class IV employees in recognition of their efforts put in their long services in Railways. Employees who have put in 25 years of service were chosen for felicitation. The programme was held at Rail Club, Civil Lines, under leadership of Monika Shrivastav, President, WSSC, CR, Nagpur Division.

In all 21 employees drawn from divsion’s engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom branches were felicitated. They were presented with certificate of appreciation in recognition of their work in ensuring safety of rail network. Their felicitation was also applauding their meritorious and hard work. The employees were given cash awards. Addressing the gathering, Shrivastav said the Railways is proud of the work being done by its Gatemen, Trolleymen, Gangmen, OHE Khalasi, Signal Khalasi, Mechanical Khalasi and added that they are the backbone of the system. Their total devotion to their work has played a big role in progress achieved by the Indian Railways. On this day we all need to pat the back of these employees, she further said. Chitrekha Bhandari, Vice-President, Priya Patil, Secretary, Nikhat Farooqi, Joint Secretary, and members of Executive Council were also present at the programme.
