Union Minister Nitin Gadkari came down heavily on proposed NYAY scheme of Congress by telling that persons like ex-PMs Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi and Manmohan Singh could not remove poverty then, how Rahul Gandhi can wipe out poverty?

Nitin Gadkari made the statement in a public meeting addressed by him in Betul’s Multai and Atner on Friday. Asking people to support BJP Lok Sabha candidate Durgadas Uikey, he told that the work which Congress failed to do in its 50 years of rule has been done by Modi government in just five years. Trying to evoke emotions, he asked people “Whether you want helpless PM or a strong PM who kills enemies in their own homes,”.

Taking on Congress, he told that elections are between two ideologies, Congress does the work of dividing people and BJP works to connect people. He accused Congress of doing caste and communal politics.

Talking about Modi government’s achievements, Gadkari said that country’s pride has increased in five years at global level. On this occasion, BJP leaders and workers were present in large numbers. People came to attend public meeting of Nitin Gadkari despite scorching heat.
