BJP complains to EC against Congress

Bharatiya Janata Party delegation, on Saturday, complained to the Election Commission against Congress and submitted a memorandum. The delegation comprising election committee convenor Shantilal Lodha, members S S Uppal and Ravi Kochar in the complaint said that Congress is asking people to fulfill demand letter in Khandwa Parliamentary constituency even when model code of conduct is effective in State. Delegation said that Congress received demand letters from the families belonging to below poverty line. Lodha said there is photo of Congress President Rahul Gandhi on one side and picture of Congress candidate Arun Yadav as well as party symbol on the other side.
 
Information regarding name, bank name, account number, Aadhaar number etc is being fulfilled in the demand letter. Delegation said that Congress during the election had announced to deposit Rs 72,000 in the accounts of poor every year. Delegation complained that Congress is violating model code of conduct as it is trying to lure poor voters through different ways of providing benefits. A video was given to commission.
