It is indicated that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is most probably to release the results of class X board examination on Sunday. But for CBSE Bhubaneswar region (handles CBSE affiliated schools of Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Odisha) it is difficult to release results on May 5th, as recent storm Fani affected as well as damaged the entire state including capital of Odisha too.

In this position, how will authorities of CBSE Bhubaneswar region declare results of class X board examinations? Students who appeared for examination can check their results on various CBSE sites, like cbseresults.nic.in as well as cbse.nic.in. In the meantime, students are advised to keep an eye on this space, as the board might spring a surprise with declaration of results on Sunday or Monday like it did with results of class XII. Earlier, it was reported that CBSE would declare results of class X as well as XII in the third week of May after election polls. But in a surprise, CBSE declared the results of class XII recently. In state, over 21,000 students appeared for class X CBSE board this year and are eagerly waiting for the declaring of results.

A K George, principal of leading CBSE affiliated school said that after declaration of results of class XII in a surprising mode, it is sure that CBSE will declare results of class X in one or two days, he pointed. He also added that students should get panic of results and would take it with calm. This year, in class X board examination, no leak of question paper and other rumours were circulated in any platform and students gave their paper in a peaceful atmosphere. Even students did not face any difficulty in question paper of any subject and in all subjects, pattern of the questions asked were moderate.
