Garha cops nab 4 accused in looting contractor

Garha police have succeeded in apprehending four accused of looting a garden contractor on the tip of revolver and seized a revolver, a live cartridge, a mobile handset, cash of Rs 25,000 and XUV car used during the incident. The arrested have been identified as Lucky alias Jishan Ali (27), son of Mehboob Ali, resident of behind Gorakhpur Gurudwara, Gulla alias Kailash Kori (24), son of Shyamlal Kori, resident of Gorakhpur, Roshan Tiwari (19), son of Ramesh Tiwari of Gorakhpur and Raja Yadav (25), son of Bhagwandas Yadav of Gorakhpur.
Superintendent of Police, Nimish Agrawal (IPS) informed this while addressing a press conference, on Saturday. It may be noted that, on May 2, a man named Abbu alias Ashfaq (42), resident of Mujawar Mohalla, lodged a written complaint that, he, along with his friend Ravi Shankar Dubey, took Shailparn Garden of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) on lease. He was sitting on counter of garden and Tabrez was also sitting near him when Lucky Ali of Gorakhpur along with 2-3 other men arrived and started abusing him for taking the contract and threatened to hand over the contract to him. Before he could learn his intentions, the miscreant took out a revolver and threatened to kill him and also threatened to abduct his children.
Lucky Ali looted cash of Rs 25,000 and a mobile handset and managed to escape from the spot. Garha police registered a case under sections 392, 294, 506 and 384 of the IPC. SP, Nimish Agrawal (IPS) had constituted separate teams for ensuring arrest of the accused. Continuing a rigorous search, police team succeeded in apprehending the accused Lucky Ali alias Jishan Ali, who is a habitual criminal and several sensitive cases of attempting murder, illegal firearms, Explosive Act, illegal money recovery and attack in Gorakhpur, Cantt and Kotwali areas. Accused were apprehended with active working of police team led by SHO, Shafeek Khan, SI, Suraj Pandey, ASI, B R Choudhary, Crime Branch’s Head Constables, Dhananjay Singh, Vijay Shukla, Pramod Pandey, Constables, Mohit, Rahul, Deepak, Ramgopal and others.
