‘BJP contesting polls on devpt works accomplished in 5 years’

“IN 2014, there was resentment among public against Congress-led UPA Government so they gave mandate in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and BJP won the elections with thumping victory,” said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in a press conference on Sunday. Gadkari further said people across the country like BJP’s ideology as it believes in progress and development. He claimed that the works done by the BJP-led Government at the Centre in past five years for betterment of the country and its citizens was never attempted by the Congress in 50 years.
 
Gadkari also shared that more than double highways have been constructed in BJP’s regime as compared to the Congress Government in last 50 years. He said even in this election BJP is seeking votes and support on the basis of progress and development done from 2014 to 2019. He emphasised, ‘Rashtravad Hamari Aatma Hai’ and BJP focuses on development and progress of ‘Daridra Narayan’ and ‘Antyodaya’ living in backward and tribal areas. He also expressed happiness over express highways including Mumbai-Delhi. Union Minister Gadkari said that BJP is committed to remove poverty, hunger, unemployment from the country.
