This year, for the first time National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination was conducted by National Test Agency at various determined centers including Bhopal. Strict checking was done of the examinees at the examination centre gate and before entering into exam halls. The examiners held checking outside of examination.
 
Alike previous year, the examination was held in an offline mode comprising of 180 questions of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The examination covered both class 11 and 12 syllabus of these three subjects. The questions were based on multiple choices. Both Physics and Chemistry have 45 questions each. Biology has 90 questions divided equally among Botany and Zoology. The duration of examination was three hours. The candidates will be awarded +4 marks for every correct answer, while -1 will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Counselling and seat allotment will begin in June after the result declaration. Result is expected to be declared in the first week of June.
