Targeting the Congress Government in the State, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that MP is witnessing government of two-and-a-half CMs. Cases of abduction, rape and violence against girls are on rise and the Congress Government is keeping silence. “Those leaders who are more worried about their sons and money should learn from great sacrifices made by Lakha Banjara for Sagar lake,” he added. Prime Minister Modi arrived at Sagar at 3 pm by special helicopter on Sunday. Amidst tight security, he reached the venue of election rally at Kajliwan ground.

At the outset, local senior leaders welcomed the Prime Minister. Thousands of people braved intense heat to hear the address and as soon he started, crowd raised slogans of ‘Modi-Modi’. The enthusiasm of gathering was at its peak. Prime Minister Modi conveyed best wishes to voters of the area where polling is on May 6 and appealed to them to ensure record voter turnout. Prime Minister Modi said that despite scorching heat, people should visit polling booths and should participate in biggest festival of democracy. He urged people to vote for BJP candidate from Sagar Lok Sabha seat Rajbahadur Singh as each vote cast for BJP candidate would strengthen prospects of the party at the Centre once again. He said to people that their participation would give strength to ‘chowkidar’.

Nation should be strong and it comes only with strong and stable government. Hence people should vote for stability, i.e. for BJP. The Prime Minister said that he is determined for security of country. “New India has the power to defeat enemy on its own land. The ban on global terrorist Masood Azhar is the beginning of action which Pakistan would be facing for funding and nurturing terrorists on its own land. Similar fate would be of other terrorists also. BJP is committed to make nation free from terrorism and Naxalism.” He equalled Congress to ‘lie’ and recent example is show off of ‘loan waiver’ for farmers. Farmers were given assurance and in reality loan waiver was not done. Congress has indulged in other lies also. Now Congress is showing big dreams to people of giving Rs 72,000 annually, he added.

He said that he has come to make people aware of the lies of Congress and to motivate to use their vote judiciously. “Congress is trying hard to malign my image before people but I have God with me and am not afraid of any tactics of the Congress, he said blasting the Congress of extending benefits to one family since many decades and thereby hampering progress of many generations. The Prime Minister claimed that if Congress remained in power for 100 years also, the country would lack basic infrastructure works as it priorities are different. People should dethrone Congress in year 2014. BJP is determined to do works in the 21st century which should have been done in 20th century. Before India completes 75 years of its freedom, BJP is aiming to give home to the homeless, toilet to each family, power, water supply and gas in each home.”

The Prime Minister said that in year 2014, he came to seek blessings of people and now he has come to express gratitude to people and seek blessing for 2019 election. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of Opposition in State Assembly Gopal Bhargava, former minister Bhupendra Singh, BJP candidate Rajbahadur Singh, Union Minister Dr Virendra Kumar, MLA Shailendra Jain, Pradeep Laria, Mayor Abhay Dare and other senior leaders were present.
