An all-rounder Raghavi made her parents proud by securing 99% marks in her tenth CBSE and becoming ‘second topper’ in the city. Regular studies with proper planning has definitely helped Raghavi, a student of Centre Point School, Dabha, to secure second position. She gives the entire credit of her success to her school teachers, tuition teachers and her parents. “All my teachers supported me during my studies. My parents provided the strength.

They never overburdened me with their expectations. On the contrary, they provided me the freedom to study as per my plans”, said Raghavi. Raghavi’s father Praveen is a businessman, and her mother, Harshada is an architect. Besides academics, Raghavi did take part in extra-curricular activities. She remained an active member of students’ council of the school. She participated in cultural activities and also played basketball for the school team. Sharing her study plans, Raghavi said, “After school and tuition, I used to undertake self-study regularly for about two hours. Self-study and taking notes with understanding and analysis of the topic, helped in my success.”

Talking about the stress that is on rise in students, Raghavi said, “Regular exercise and meditation can help reduce stressand I do it regularly. I had stopped my exercise during preliminary examinations. I scored less in second preliminary exams and started feeling low and stressed. Immediately, I realised the need to restart exercise and meditation, which helped me improve concentration in studies.” Raghavi aimed to be a doctor. She feels that a doctor is a very noble profession for serving the society. Suggesting some success mantra to her juniors, Raghavi said, “Study regularly and don’t keep anything pending. Leaving any portion can result in stress.”
