Cong delegation reaches Chouhan’s residence with loan waiver papers

A Congress delegation, led by former Union Minister and Congress leader Suresh Pachouri and state minister P C Sharma, reached the residence of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday along with the farmers’ loan waiver documents. They presented documents before Chouhan as proof of farmers’ loan wavier. Congress leaders claimed that they have submitted documents, including names of the farmers whose loans have been waive off, contact number, loan waiver certificate and bank details. “Farmers’ loan waive off is not a secret while information is online.
BJP is manipulating the public and presenting lie. We have provided the information of farmers’ loan waiver to Shivraj Singh Chouhan,” said Suresh Pachouri. Opposing the action of Congress, former CM Chouhan told mediapersons, “Chief Minister Kamal Nath has sent me list of farmers from agriculture department. Give me list of bank, loan can waive off by banks only.
He is just distracting the farmers. Loan cannot be waive off by making list only. After talking about 48,000 crores, Rs 1,300 crores have been released then how loan can be waive off.” Shivraj Singh Chouhan has accused Congress of lying on farmers’ loan waiver. Accusing Congress, he said, Rahul Gandhi has deceived farmers as earlier he had promised to waive off the loan within 10 days of coming to power but the party had failed to keep its promise even after 120 days.
